Environment Mood Boards
For our environment we wanted to separate the moods by Acts 1 2 and 3. The beginning of the short is meant to be cold and dark when the Troll is still angry and cruel.
In Act 2 the Troll finds himself in a comforting place that teaches him kindness and compassion.
The ending of the short will continue this atmosphere as the Troll completes his heroes journey.

The troll we were looking at earthy and rock based designs that were both intimidating and misunderstood.
The hunter was made to be a mysterious slim character that could survive in the outdoors.
